The Vanilla Pod Eatery was opened in April 2011 by Kate O'Sullivan, Derek Breen and Veronica Muresan. Our aim was to provide great wholesome food at an affordable price in an urban cool and fun setting.
We are all hands on, Derek leads the team in the kitchen and Kate and Veronica run the floor.
Over the past 2 years The Vanilla Pod Eatery has become a popular destination, so much so that we decided to extend our offering by opening Pod's Pizza next door to The Vanilla Pod Eatery.
Vanilla Pod Kitchen opened December 2012 and offers typical Italian style food in an urban chic setting with red brick walls, subway tiles and an open kitchen where you can see your food being freshly prepared. Vanilla Pod Kitchen offers spelt dough bases as an alternative for those with a wheat intolerance.
