Urbanity coffee is a small-batch roaster and speciality café located in Smithfield, Dublin 7. Started by three friends with a passion for good coffee and fresh, healthy food. We opened our doors in February 2016 and together with our dedicated team we have built a loyal following.
Here at Urbanity we try to make everything ourselves. That includes our almond butter and granola, to our relishes and pickles and all of our cakes and sweet treats. We even roast the coffee!
Where it isn’t feasible to make it ourselves, rest assured we use the very best suppliers. Our eggs are organic and supplied by Rod in Co. Louth. Our bread is baked locally (we bake the soda bread!) and comes from Thibault in Tartine. We use Vernon’s for fruit and veg and The Village Dairy for our organic milk. Nua in Galway supply our specialist health foods. Our artisan products and cheeses are supplied by Lilliput Artisan Foods - just around the corner in Stoneybatter.
Our packaging is environmentally friendly and fully compostable – it’s supplied by Down2Earth Materials in Cork. Our teas are supplied by Clement & Pekoe and our hot chocolate comes from Hazel Mountain Chocolate in Co. Clare. Karwig’s in Co. Cork supplies our wines.
All of our meat is sourced locally and free-range where possible.
